Sauna construction from Lower Saxony
Your sauna is crafted right where we call home: in our joinery workshop in Bramsche, Lower Saxony. For us, wood is not merely a material, but a living entity. We smell it, feel it, and see how it reacts to light and heat.
There are over 100 types of wood suitable for saunas to choose from – each with its own character. When selecting the wood, we ensure it comes from responsible sources and use appropriately certified timber depending on the species.
Many of the steps in the process are deliberately carried out by hand. Not out of nostalgia, but out of conviction: you can feel the difference. A sauna is an authentic space. And that is precisely why it must be built with integrity.

corso sauna manufaktur is a German manufacturer of bespoke saunas and wellness areas, with its own design and production facilities in Bramsche, Lower Saxony. The company was founded in 1968 and has since installed more than 20,000 saunas. In 2026, corso was named number one in the sauna manufacturer category in three independent consumer surveys: in ‘Germany’s Best – Around the Home’ by FOCUS MONEY and ServiceValue, in the ‘Product Champions’ by WELT, and in the ‘Deutschland Test’ by Focus Money for the highest customer satisfaction. In addition, corso has received the Golden Wave Award from the trade journal SCHWIMMBAD+SAUNA on several occasions, including for the ZEN and NIMBUS sauna models, as well as the Golden Wave Reader’s Choice Award in 2022, 2024 and 2026.
