Perfect planning is particularly important for a sauna under a sloping roof. As we manufacture each sauna individually, we were able to fully utilise our particular strengths in this project and optimally design the sauna room. The good liaison with the client couple, who were open to ideas and suggestions, was invaluable. The result is a feel-good sauna in honey-coloured hemlock wood with a large glass front and floating sauna benches. A dream sauna where we relax regularly. – It’s always nice when we are allowed to become active as ‘dream realisers’!
We are extremely satisfied. Very good advice and therefore perfect planning. Professional and high-quality execution. Reliable service. It’s great that something like this still exists.

Interview with the client couple from near Hildesheim about the project:
What wishes did you have for the project?
‘We had been looking into saunas for a while, but had never found the right one. Our aim was to combine the pleasure of a sauna with high-quality technology and a modern design that suited our taste. A sauna that people like to use and that doesn’t just live a shadowy existence after the initial euphoria.’
Why did you choose corso?
‘We found corso on the internet. We were initially attracted by the design and individuality of the saunas. The fact that we realised the project with Corso was ultimately down to the perfect technical and design advice and the excellent, particularly reliable service. The price/performance ratio is very reasonable for this quality.’
How did the sauna planning go?
‘We had very clear ideas about the space. During an initial on-site consultation (on a Saturday!), we were able to clarify all the basic technical and design issues. The exhibition and the opportunity to view the production facilities were very stimulating and valuable. After the first design draft, details were agreed by e-mail and telephone. In a second meeting, which was actually no longer necessary, we looked at the pre-produced parts and clarified or changed a few details (fittings, handles, accessories).’
Were there any particular challenges and how were they solved?
‘Some! We took the measurements ourselves on site – because of the greater distance. That…
…was exciting – but thanks to perfect and reliable communication, everything went really well. Despite the sloping roof! Neither we nor other suppliers had a good idea of how to deal with an existing window in the intended room. It was Mr Lingens who came up with the brilliant idea. Just thinking outside the box – what is the real purpose of the window? None! So it was closed off and the remaining room behind the sauna with the window can be reached through a concealed flap under the benches. The technology was also housed there. Without Mr Lingens’ encouraging advice based on his many years of experience, we probably wouldn’t have dared to lay the real wood parquet throughout the sauna. This gives the room a fantastic spaciousness and, in our experience so far, is really no problem (of course, you have to do without the guarantee from the parquet layer).’
What do you particularly like about the sauna?
‘Everything, actually. We really haven’t found anything that we would change. The ‘floating’ benches and the hemlock wood in the particularly wide sorting are very nice.’
How would you rate corso?
‘We are extremely satisfied. Very good advice and therefore perfect planning. Professional and high-quality workmanship. Reliable service. It’s great that something like this still exists. If you value quality, personalised advice and planning, Corso is the right place for you.’
Thank you very much for the interview!
