Smart home sauna with remote start
A clear, straightforward line as well as a simple, restrained sauna in the master bathroom – these were the wishes of the builder family for the bathroom design in their single-family house in Essen-Werden. The modern new building was built by the One! Contact Planning Office with custom-made work very high-quality planned and furnished, so that a high demand was also placed on the sauna. As a manufacturer, corso is much more flexible than some other large sauna manufacturers and responds very well to individual wishes.
…further targeted partition walls, the bathroom was cleverly structured and divided into individual zones, so that the impression of several rooms is created. The design is very modern, but the combination of warm and cold materials creates a very homely feel-good overall ambience.
The glass front of the hemlock sauna is kept in a slightly tinted grey glass. The outwardly extended bench seat visually ensures a generous effect of the sauna cabin. A chic eye-catcher is the walk-in rain shower, which provides the necessary cooling after the sauna right next to the sauna.
Inside the sauna, the cosy, warm, honey-coloured hemlock wood is skilfully staged by the starry sky and the indirect LED lighting. The sauna is equipped with a combi stove, so that it can be used either as a Finnish sauna or as a bio sauna. The exhaust air of the KfW 40Plus house was adapted accordingly in consultation with the planning office. Light and sauna technology are switched via a KNX bus system and sensor-controlled safety technology. This also allows a remote start of the sauna on the go.
