Fantastic garden sauna
This modern garden sauna with anteroom (CUBUS model) is the special eye-catcher within the garden, which is designed in clear lines: an outdoor sauna as a haven of peace and relaxation in the middle of the countryside. The exterior cladding is designed in Rhombus profiled wood in larch with grey patina paint and thus blends seamlessly into the rest of the garden design. The interior design is made to measure in Hemlock sauna profile wood and is optimally staged by the indirect LED lighting behind the backrests. Particularly practical is the… more >

Garden sauna with anteroom
Particularly practical is the vestibule of the garden sauna, where the bathrobe can be placed away from view. The wooden walkway directly in front of the sauna ensures that the sauna can be reached with dry feet even in the wetter season. The bench right next to the garden sauna invites you to linger.
The arrangement of the partially glazed sauna area was deliberately chosen in such a way that it is not possible to look into the sauna from neighbouring houses. Instead, you can enjoy the sauna relaxation with a view of the garden and a small water feature.
The sauna itself can be used either as a bio sauna with mild temperatures and slightly increased humidity or as a Finnish sauna in dry and hot temperatures.
The client is very satisfied with the project:
“We came to Corso through our landscape gardener, who put us in touch with an exhibition in the east of Munich in search of a high-quality outdoor sauna. A very good tip, for which we are still very grateful today.
The “only” challenge turned out to be the appropriate integration of the sauna into the garden. Starting with the…
… the necessary re-laying of the power cables, the construction of a suitable tool shed and the design of the small garden between the buildings with plants and fountains. The sauna is simply of very high quality. Everything in life has its price. Overall, however, a very good price/performance ratio! In particular, the large glazing we chose and the unobstructed view of the garden makes a visit to the sauna a real experience (no “feeling of confinement”). My tips for outdoor sauna builders who are planning a similar project: Involve a landscape gardener, be sure to choose large glazing, music via Bluetooth to round it off!”
All in all, a very successful project: a modern garden sauna with anteroom and very high-quality, cosy sauna design for the best, healthy moments of relaxation in your own garden. (Click on the images to view them in large format.)

FAQ Garden sauna with anteroom
Why is an anteroom useful for a garden sauna?
An anteroom serves as a practical changing room and relaxation area. Clothes, towels and bathrobes can be stored in a dry place without being exposed to moisture or cold. In addition, the vestibule reduces direct heat loss when opening the sauna door.
What are the advantages of a garden sauna with an anteroom compared to one without?
– More storage space for towels, infusion accessories and drinks.
– Better thermal insulation due to additional door.
– Protection from wind and weather when entering.
– Possibility of use as a changing room or relaxation room.
How big should the anteroom of a garden sauna be?
The size depends on the planned use. For pure changing, 2-3 m² is sufficient, if you want to integrate loungers or seating, you should plan 5-8 m².
Can you have a garden sauna with anteroom individually planned?
Yes, corso sauna manufaktur offers tailor-made garden sauna solutions: size, type of wood, windows, doors and room layout can be individually adjusted so that the anteroom fits perfectly with the garden and use.
Do you need a special foundation for a garden sauna with an anteroom?
Basically, the same requirements apply as for any outdoor sauna: a stable, frost-free foundation is mandatory. For larger models with an anteroom, a continuous concrete slab is usually recommended.
Is a garden sauna with an anteroom subject to approval?
In Germany, the approval requirement for a garden sauna depends on the federal state, the type of construction and the dimensions. Many compact saunas fall under the category of “permit-free outbuildings”. Our recommendation: A call to the building authority provides clarity, preferably have it confirmed in writing.
What costs do I have to pay for a garden sauna with an anteroom?
Prices vary depending on size, equipment and material. Simple models start at around 15,000 euros, while individually planned premium saunas with an anteroom start at 35,000 euros.
