Pool house with sauna: maximum transparency

Protected areas such as the Finnish sauna, infrared cabin, changing room, shower/WC and technical equipment are concealed within a shell of rustic larch wood, which is allowed to develop a natural patina over time. The heart of the facility is the sauna, made from distinctive original reclaimed wood, which creates an atmosphere reminiscent of a cosy alpine mountain hut.

In the relaxation room, floor-to-ceiling cero sliding windows from Solarlux open up to reveal views of the surrounding countryside. Special sun protection glass ensures that the room remains at a comfortable temperature even on hot summer days.

The glass house in front can also be completely opened to the surroundings: side elements can be unfolded or moved to create a flowing transition from inside to outside. This is made possible by a sliding-turning system in combination with a floor-to-ceiling bi-folding glass door – for a unique nature and feel-good experience.

Garden sauna without anteroom with panoramic window

The garden sauna without anteroom offers plenty of space for saunas with a wonderful view of the garden through the spacious panoramic window and the glazed door. The outer cladding in glacier-grey silver fir can also be found on the pool cover and blends harmoniously into the overall picture of the “wellness garden”.

The interior cladding is designed in brushed thermo-aspen with straight-lined benches in thermo-aspen. The indirect LED lighting skilfully sets the scene for the cosy sauna wood and makes the sauna an eye-catcher in the garden in the evening in combination with the illuminated pool. If necessary, the interior of the sauna can be shaded by an internal privacy blind.

Thanks to the combination sauna heater, the sauna can be used either as a Finnish sauna or as a bio sauna .

Ice bath & sauna directly on the race track

With its brand new sauna ice bath trailer, “our” Formula 1 client now has everything available for his perfect regeneration: mobile and directly at the race track. Even the refrigerator is already on board. We are sure that he will deliver even better in qualifying and in the F1 race in the future. In any case, we wish him the best results in all F1 races of the season. And to be honest: we are curious to see if the next F1 driver will soon have a sauna ice bath trailer with full equipment removed by us!

There are some well-known professional athletes and celebrities in our clientele, but understandably they also value their privacy. One thing is important to us above all: to inspire our customers. It doesn’t matter if you’re a celebrity or not.

Hotel Panoramasauna

The feedback from the host family Schenk-Steiner is our motivation: “Very good communication in the preparation and the sauna is very well made, we are very satisfied.” We can actually only return this in this way: our assembly team was simply enthusiastic about the good care in the organic hotel. We say “grazie” to South Tyrol!

The complete project planning was done via video call and telephone, the other details were coordinated by email: This is also possible – even with an extensive outdoor sauna project.

With a width/depth/height of 294 x 441 x 262 cm, the panorama sauna offers plenty of space for guests of the Biohotel Panorama to relax – always with the most magnificent mountain view. The exterior cladding is made of larch rhombus profiled wood. The interior is clad in spruce sauna wood, the bench furnishings in light aspen wood with a rounded front edge.

In the evening hours, the discreet LED lighting behind the backrests creates a special atmosphere. Maybe try it out for yourself when you are in the area…?

Garden sauna with daybed

A pool in the garden was already available – and also a sauna in the house. But with a family of 5, it can get busy inside the house. Therefore, the desire was to move the wellness area completely to the garden in order to be able to relax deeply there. The client commented on this in an interview:

“We had the desire not only to move the sauna out of the house into the garden, but also the complete wellness experience with sauna, shower and, above all, the relaxation room for relaxing between sauna sessions.”

Were there any special challenges?

“Due to the size of the sauna house, we had to obtain a building permit and appropriate earthworks were necessary for the laying of the water pipes, but the project went smoothly.”

What do you particularly like about the sauna house?

“The overall design is very successful and the entire sauna is of very high quality. And because everything is united under one roof, we can now relax completely outdoors and go to the pool.”

Who uses the sauna – and how often?

“On average, we use the sauna once or twice a week, less in summer, but more often in autumn/winter. And in the meantime, 2 of our children have also found joy in using the sauna.”

What is your overall conclusion of the project?

“It’s perfect that the sauna and relaxation area are completely in the garden, with a peaceful distance from the house. And we can jump straight from the sauna into the pool. The sauna house is a visual highlight: both from the house, when the sauna is illuminated, and from the sauna, when you look at the cathedral. We are very satisfied.”

Rustic old wood gives cosiness

… because the large glass surfaces open up the room beautifully. The reclaimed wood provides warmth and a relaxing scent. Perfectly installed by Corso, it turned out exactly like that – simply beautiful.”

Reclaimed wood exudes its very own, rustic charm, because it has been shaped by wind and weather over decades into a wood with its very own character. The wood comes from old farmhouses and huts in Austria. After being removed, the waste wood was carefully cleaned and prepared before it was given its “performance” in the corso sauna.

Each board has its own appearance, none looks like the other. But that is exactly what is desired and what is special about the original old wood. And so it gives an old wood sauna its uniqueness and its very own charm.

In combination with the indirect LED lighting behind the backrests and the generous glazing, the wood comes into its own. The sauna benches made of thermo-aspen wood harmonise well with the old wood in terms of colour and result in a harmonious overall look.
