FAQ Sauna with sloping roof
Can you also build a sauna under a sloping roof?
Yes, a sauna can also be easily implemented under a sloping roof. Precise planning is crucial, in which roof angle, knee stock, room height and windows are precisely taken into account. With a custom-made product, even a small roof space can be used optimally – without compromising on comfort, function or design.
How much space is needed for a sauna with a sloping roof?
For a sauna in the attic, 4-6 m² of floor space is often sufficient. It is important that there is a sufficient seat height above the lying surfaces. Adapted bench heights, individual cutting and, if necessary, a glass front create a spacious sauna experience despite slopes.
Can skylights or dormers be integrated into the sauna?
Yes – windows or dormers can be included in the planning. This allows natural light to enter the sauna, making the room feel larger and more open. Careful insulation and the selection of the right window frame/glass ensure that little heat is lost despite the window.
How is the ventilation of a sauna under the roof solved?
The fresh air supply and exhaust air duct are planned individually. Discreet air vents or concealed air channels ensure even air circulation, so that temperature and humidity remain stable. This ensures a pleasant and healthy sauna climate.
What are the costs for a sauna under the sloping roof?
The costs depend on size, material and equipment. Compact customisation starts in the low five-digit range, and correspondingly higher for design projects with glass fronts or elaborate lighting concepts. It is crucial that the sauna is precisely tailored to the room and wishes.
How does the installation of a sauna with a sloping roof work?
The sauna is prefabricated in transportable elements and assembled on site. This means that it can also be transported through narrow stairwells or doors. The experienced assembly team ensures precise assembly – usually within one day.
